How to Get Your Products in Stores

As the end of the year is quickly approaching, it made sense to post one of Heather Allard, better known as The Mogul Mom, top posts from 2011!  Heather outlines 7 critical steps for every producer to follow when trying to wholesale your products.  She is right on target with her advice!

Like most mom entrepreneurs, you’ve spent months, maybe even years turning your idea into a real, shelf-ready creation. You’ve been through sketches, patterns, prototypes, samples, more prototypes, more samples and finally, the finished product.

I have a line of children’s dvd’s that are on 250 networks in the U.S. and also in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Canada. Also, we will soon be seen on PBS– Not sure how to break into the retail market!

    HI Beth

Thanks for your comments! But your question is a BIG one.

I have a couple suggestions: First, read my e-book, The Complete Guide to Selling to Gift Shops,

Next, my friend Andreea, has an excellent program to help folks just like you,

Another alternative would be to schedule a consulting appointment (but we highly recommend you purchase and read the e-book FIRST before you set an appointment),

Lastly, I would suggest that you join my LinkedIn Group, Selling to Gift Shops. There are lots of folks there and lots of ideas that are shared that I think would help:

    Good luck,
