The Attractor Factor: 5 Easy Steps for Creating Wealth (or Anything Else) From the Inside Out
by Joe Vitale

…the Attractor Factor is always at work.  It is spirit giving you what you focus on.  Focus on lack, you get lack. Focus on your bad back, you get more of your bad back.  So, for Step One, all you want to do is notice what you have been focusing one.
— Joe Vitale

I had heard and read some of Joe Vitale’s books, but recognized his amazing story after he was featured in the movie, “The Secret”.

His part in the movie was phenomenal!  After that, his books really came alive to me.

In The Attractor Factor, he reminds us that we get what we focus on.  In other words, if we want wealth, we need to stop thinking about all that is wrong with our lives, our relationships, our products or our businesses.

So, number one in Joe’s five step plan, is to start noticing what we are thinking about.

Stay tuned for the rest of his five step plan…

Step Two in our Attractor Factor process involves choosing what you want, and doing it in such a way that you activate your mind to complete the job for you.
– Joe Vitale

Too many times during our daydreaming, we often ‘complain’ about the things we DON’T want.

You know:  I don’t want this headache; I don’t want to work with this person or this company; I don’t want to do this particular task ….

But, Joe suggests that we turn that around and say what we do want:  I want a clear head; I want to work with pleasant people who want to buy my products; I enjoy getting this task done!

Joe says:  Refocusing on what you do want will take you in the direction of what you want.

If we can get out of the way, our intentions can fulfill themselves.

Step 3:  Focus on what you want, and make one of your intentions finding someone to help you clear yourself of old beliefs so that you can create the life you want. … State your intentions to the world, and allow it to come to you.
— Joe Vitale

I know this sounds a bit out there, but bear with me as I have seen this work in my own life.

If you have ever felt ‘stuck’, it may just be old beliefs that are holding you back.  In my case, because of a few things that happened when I was in grade school, I had the belief that I was unworthy.  That feeling of unworthiness would still hold me back if I didn’t consciously decide that I am worthy to receive what I want and need in life!

Joe gives example after example of people who have done the same in their own lives.

He suggests when you start feeling stuck, you ask yourself the following question:

“What does it mean that you don’t yet have what you want?”  When you answer that question, you will understand your deep and often hidden beliefs.

Give it a try.  You might be surprised!

… you must feel whatever is is you want to attract.  You might see it in your mind, but until you feel it as already complete, you will be missing a key step in the attraction process.
— Joe Vitale

Step four in Joe’s Attractor Factor is missing from most self-help books and other techniques used to help folks attract what they want in life and business.

Emotion has power!  One of the strongest energies (or emotions) you can experience is gratitude.  Once you feel grateful for what you have in life, you are in an energy that can create miracle.

Another way to move this process along is to imagine what it will feel like to have, to be, or to do the things you want in your business.  You can cement this feeling by writing out a detailed scene that describes what you want.

Try it out!  Sit down now and dream what you want and write it down!

Step Five:  Let Go.  When you want something, but can live without having it, you have upped the odds of your having it.
— Joe Vitale

Letting go of what you want may not make sense to you unless you believe there is ‘something’ beyond yourself that works on your behalf.

Joe says that “as soon as you say, ‘I MUST have this,’ you begin to push it away.”

To me, that means that when I am desperate — whining or pleading — I repel the very thing I want.  (If you have children, you probably understand your reluctance to ‘give in’ to your child’s demands when they get overly whinny with you!) And if I can’t ‘let go’, I will never achieve what I want in my life.

Maybe this sounds too spiritual or just plain crazy thinking to you …. But, I encourage you to read Joe Vitale’s book, and review all his stories and then, draw you own conclusions!
