The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.
Do you follow Oprah’s lead and celebrate your life?
When we praise and celebrate the little things in life, bigger things come our way. Don’t you think that Oprah is a perfect example of that concept?
If you were not aware of Oprah’s past, she grew up in poor rural Mississippi by a single teenage mother. Do you think she dreamed that she would ever become as famous as she is today?
Maybe not, but I do bet she learned at a young age to celebrate all the things in her life — which grew to where she is today!!
Real integrity is doing the right thing, knowing that nobody’s going to know whether you did it or not.
Remember when you were a little person and you thought you could get away with getting into the cookie jar or other such childish escapades. After all, if nobody saw you do it, it wouldn’t matter.
Of course, many of us that tried that didn’t realize that mom and dad have been around a bit longer than us and knew more about what we do then we realize!!
So, we grow up understanding that real integrity is more important than short term gain or ‘what we can get away with’ for the moment.
People are smarter than we think and they know real integrity — even if we can fool them for the moment.
Assure yourself a good night sleep by doing what is right — even if no one is watching!!
Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another steppingstone to greatness.
Okay, in fairness to the gentlemen reading this, “Think like a king!”
Oprah is talking about overcoming fear and stepping out into our greatest good.
If you look at the statics concerning the most affluent business people, they often went or were bankrupt at some time in their life. Rather than wallow in their failures, they pick themselves up and learn from their mistakes.
I have heard once that the best definition of mistakes is “missing the mark”. We all miss the mark from time to time. What is important is what we do with and after the mistake!
Personally, I have learned more from my mistakes than I ever have learned from my successes! How about you?
