No! Try not. Do, or do not. There is no try.
Yoda is one of my favorite ‘gurus’. Of course, he is a fictional character, but despite that, shares some insightful wisdom.
“There is no try.” Have you ever really thought about what ‘trying’ really means? Either you are going to do something or you are not. Trying to do something just sounds like a lack of commitment to me.
If your heart is not in something then don’t do it, but to say you are going to try, just gives you an excuse to fail.
How about if we decide to do — move forward in our lives with our plans and dreams — and forget about trying! We are better than someone who is just ‘trying’ to do something.
