Inspirational Quote from Rumi

Today’s business tip is from …Inspirational Quote from Rumi
Rumi

Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī, more popularly simply as Rumi (30 September 1207 – 17 December 1273), was a 13th-century Persian Sunni Muslim poet, jurist, Islamic scholar, theologian, and Sufi mystic originally from Greater Khorasan.  Rumi’s influence transcends national borders and ethnic divisions.  His poems have been widely translated into many of the world’s languages and transposed into various formats. Rumi has been described as the “most popular poet” and the “best selling poet” in the United States.

“Everyone has been made for some particular work, and the desire for that work has been put in every heart.”

Have you considered that you were put on this earth, at this point in time, to create a particular work?  And that the special desire for this work has been put in your heart — maybe before you were born?

Rumi, the mystic, thinks this is so for everyone.

When we embrace our ‘work’ as our special destiny, as it were, life can reveal a much bigger purpose for each of us.  And the ‘work’ we create suddenly become so much more valuable.

Does that make you feel more important — knowing you have a purpose beyond what you may see for your life?

What would you do differently if you looked at your life and business as your special purpose in life?
