Today’s Business Tips …Inspirational Thoughts from Barbara Corcoran

Barbara Ann Corcoran (born March 10, 1949, in Edgewater, New Jersey) is an American businesswoman, investor, speaker, consultant, syndicated columnist, author, and television personality. She began her career in the 1970s with real estate, then became a television personality as a “Shark” investor on ABC’s Shark Tank.

“The joy is in the getting there. The beginning years of starting your business, the camaraderie when you’re in the pit together, are the best years of your life. So rather than being so focused on when you get big and powerful, if you can just get the juice out of that… don’t miss it.”

Living in the moment!  I love it!!

Rather than focusing solely on the end goal — not being happy until you get there — how about if we enjoy the ride?

Building my own business is one of the greatest joys of my life!  Sure there were times it was difficult, but none of that seems important now because I loved every minute of it (until I got sick, of course!)

What small part of your business and life do you enjoy right now?  Concentrate on that part and rejoice in it!  A positive attitude makes the rest of the ride more enjoyable!

One final quote to help you stay positive:

“A complainer is like a Death Eater because there’s a suction of negative energy. You can catch a great attitude from great people.”
