“For every sleazeball in the business there are plenty of decent and wonderful people.”
I fully agree with Gifford’s quote above!
In reality, there are lots of good people, who want to see us success, and support us in their own unique ways.
Giving into the negative reaction and staying in that negative state can be very damaging to ourselves and our businesses.
Personally, I prefer to see all people as well-meaning. Does that ‘naive’ view point get me in trouble? Well, yes, sometimes, but I would rather err on the side of positivity rather than negativity.
I want to share these last words from Gifford that explains what we often don’t consider:
“We’re imperfect people trapped in an imperfect world until we get to that place beyond.”
