Inspirational Thoughts from Yoko Ono

Yoko Ono (born February 18, 1933) is a Japanese-American multimedia artist, singer, songwriter and peace activist. Her work also encompasses performance art, which she performs in both English and Japanese and film making.  Singer-songwriter John Lennon of the Beatles was her third husband.

I realized that if my thoughts immediately affect my body, I should be careful about what I think. Now if I get angry, I ask myself why I feel that way. If I can find the source of my anger, I can turn that negative energy into something positive.”

Of course, Like Yono Ono says, we sometimes get angry and allow negative thoughts to fill our mind.

She suggests finding the source of our negative thoughts and energy in order to turn it into something positive.  Maybe there is a reason why things turn out the way they did.  Maybe the direction we were taking was not right for our life or business.

Next time you feel negative energy,  take time to think about how you can turn that thought or feeling into something positive.
