Many people set goals or resolutions for the new year to move their business forward. But most find that those resolutions just don’t pan out after a few months. Or you look back and feel like you failed because you didn’t reach your goals.
Instead of goals and resolutions, try setting intentions. Intentions create a mental state that represents a commitment to carrying out an action or actions in the future. Intention involves mental activities such as planning and forethought.
Developing personal and/or business intentions allow you to access your inner desires to create the life and business that you love. Unlike goals that happen in the future, intentions focus on the present which raises your emotional energy to act on creating a perfect life for you and your business.
Many entrepreneurs are excellent at identifying their values and know that living within their interpretation of them is a powerful way to achieve success, and more importantly, happiness. Daily intentions can help you do that. They also provide a roadmap and reminder for how to live out each day. Intentions give you purpose, as well as the inspiration and motivation to achieve your purpose. The practice of setting daily intentions can change your life.

Every New Year, I start an exercise in developing and setting Intentions for the year. I’ve participated in this process as a group member, with my husband and business partner, and by myself. The results are phenomenal in moving you forward in your business!
To make this process easier, I am developing a free workshop to lead you through the process.
