“All of us are probably three people. We’re probably the person that we think we are, and we’re probably the person that you or somebody else perceives us to be, and… frankly, we’re probably somewhere in the middle. And I think that it’s important that there be a balance with respect to how individuals are – you know, are looked at..”
We don’t always see how we truly are. Like Michael Ovitz says: all of us are probably three people.
What we see in ourselves is probably an exaggeration of what we really are. Often we think too much of ourselves, or more often, we think too little of ourselves.
You know that thought: What I think is of no consequences to anyone else!
Not true!
Most people will see you differently. Those who really care about you will think the world of you — possibly making you out to be bigger than you really are!
Then some don’t like you or think poorly of you. Their view is skewed as well.
So, as Michael Ovitz says, who we really are is somewhere in the middle.
It is important not to overthink who you are and just be the BEST VERSION of yourself. I think this is the best way to success and contentment!
