It was 12 years ago when I first started this website and began writing weekly articles and newsletters to creative entrepreneurs.

My March 13, 2009 post went like this …

Welcome to my blog on selling wholesale to gift stores.

After working as a independent gift sales representative for over eight years, selling wholesale gift products to retail store buyers, I find so many crafters and producers with great gift products who need help getting their items ready for the market. Selling wholesale is very different from selling at craft fairs and farmers markets. But it is not the overwhelming task you might think it is! It is my desire to share some of the things I have learned over the years to help new producers who are looking to enter the wholesale gift market.

From that moment on and through the next 12 years, I posted every week (with a few exceptions).  I shared stories and tips from my own experiences, stores from those I coached, and tips from others in the industry.

I also created numerous resources to aid creative entrepreneurs in marketing and selling their products to buyers:

We’ve come a long way since that first post in March of 2009!

Although I have loved every minute of sharing tips, news, and stories with you, I feel my time of publishing newsletters is over.

So what does that mean?  It means that without needing to research and write an article, inspiration words, and a newsletter every week, I will have more time to work 1-on-1 with you — which is where my passion lies as I move forward!

So this will be part of my last weekly newsletter to you. I would like to take this time to thank all of you who have faithfully read my articles every week.  It is you who have kept me writing all these years.

But that does not mean I plan to go away!  Over the next weeks, I will be offering some special opportunities to work with me.

So stay tuned as I transition into a new phase of the business of selling wholesale to retailers!
