Twitter accounts are pretty easy to set up – much easier than either Facebook or LinkedIn.  Coming up with a unique twitter name (your user name) that is related to your business is the first step in the step up process.  After setting up the preliminary information, you have numerous options to add or not add to your account.  From the settings, you can add or change the following: Add a short bio about your company Link to your main website Add a picture or logo Design a custom background from Twitter’s list of options (if you are adventurous, you can find lots of options!) Since Twitter is so popular, there are many supporting software programs available to make your twitter experience more fun and profitable.  One of my favorites is Seesmic Desktop.   Using Seesmic, links your Facebook and Twitter accounts in one place, so you can make one post that will show up on both sites!
